Welcome

Over the years of producing Cordillera Ranch Living, we have been able to explore some fascinating people and stories. However, I don’t think we’ve ever had a feature article that better epitomizes the lifestyle available at Cordillera Ranch than this cover issue. Though it may appear to be some setup marketing stunt by Cordillera to showcase The Clubs and community amenities, the best part about it is that these adventurous ladies came up with their “Cordillerathon” on their own. They just let us all in for a little bit of the ride (without any of the sweat).

From horseback riding to kayaking and golf (and much more in between that I won’t spoil), they covered the gamut of activities all in one day. As The Club and community have grown, it’s been rewarding to see members and residents take advantage of all that Cordillera Ranch and the Texas Hill Country have to offer. Hopefully, this Cordillerathon inspires you to tackle some of these outdoor pursuits yourself — you just don’t have to try to accomplish them all in one day!

Hope you enjoy the read,

Charlie Hill

Living Longer or Living Healthier: Your Lifespan vs. Health Span

At Cordillera Ranch, we often talk about achieving new fitness goals and enjoying a round of golf, tennis or pickleball. Do we want to live longer and “survive” our life, or do we want to thrive? Some say we would like quality over quantity; I believe we can have quality in the quantity of years in our lives.

Welcome Letter

It’s Been a Year of Progress and Connection

As the days grow shorter and our community begins to sparkle with holiday lights, I wanted to share a quick note of gratitude and a few friendly reminders as we head into the season. This time of year always seems to bring out the best in people — more get-togethers, more shared meals and more neighborly help when it’s needed most. That spirit is what makes Cordillera Ranch such a special place to call home and, frankly, it’s not solely unique to this time of year.
