Undivided Attention to Detail

As we celebrate the second anniversary of The Lodges at Cordillera Ranch, it has been our honor to provide our guests with exceptional hospitality in luxury accommodations surrounded by the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country.

Members have hosted groups for weddings, anniversary and birthday parties, and corporate outings, as well as visiting family and friends. Non-resident Members enjoy staying for the week so their children can participate in the wonderful camps the Clubs offer. Our priority is to make our guests’ stays as comfortable and unique as possible with catered packages, special room requests, custom experiences and attention to every carefully selected detail to create a stay they will never forget.

Birthday parties and extended family celebrations have been incredibly popular in the Georg — a separate house, perfect for multiple families, with four private rooms that open to a spacious common area for dining and socializing, a full kitchen for additional convenience and a beautiful patio overlooking hole #3 of the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. We work closely with our guests to create catered menus they will love and custom cakes that are perfect for their special occasions. The Club’s culinary team is versed in high-end New American to casual comfort foods, exotic flavors and the varied cuisines of our state, so any selections, whether upscale or laid-back, will be perfectly executed.

When one family hosted their kids from out of state, they wanted to introduce them to Cordillera Ranch with a welcome as big as our beloved Texas. We created Texas-themed packages that included house-made steak rubs and Texas-shaped chips that the families loved, along with Cordillera Ranch t-shirts, C-Star Yeti cups and other swag.

Our little ranchers love to stay in the Tee-Pee setups. There is nothing more comforting at night than snuggling under a fluffy blanket with their very own Cordillera Ranch Teddy Bear. For our brides and grooms, we love to celebrate their special day with rose petals on the bed, handcrafted chocolate ring boxes and champagne on ice.

There is not a theme or special request that we can’t

accommodate. We invite you to host your family and friends at The Lodges and let us spoil them with experiences they will always remember.

Challenges. Opportunities. Moving Forward.

Fall has been a busy season for the Agronomy team. This important season kicks off after all the fun of the Ladies’ Ranch Roundup, when we begin our greens aerification process. At the conclusion of this process in October, we have now seen the extraordinary benefit of the deep vertical slicing (Graden device) coupled with the normal aerification of punching holes and backfilling with sand.

Bees and Golf Courses

A long-standing interest of mine has been the benefits of using honey and bee keeping. I have enjoyed honey since I was a child and there are many benefits of having honey in your diet. Honey contains a variety of nutrients, it’s rich in antioxidants and is better for blood sugar levels than regular sugar. Research has shown it to promote heart health, promote burn and wound healing, and help suppress coughing with children.

Amanda Naranjo

Ever since I can remember, I’ve been around the game of golf. From watching golf tournaments on TV with my family to going out to the driving range with my dad during my High School years while on the Golf Team, everything I associate with golf has been positive. I decided to attend the University of the Incarnate Word and major in Fashion Merchandising with a concentration in Business. Fusing both my passion for fashion and love for the game of golf, the golf merchandising path was the perfect path for me.
