The Lodges at Cordillera Ranch

Have Proven to be an Asset to the Ranch

The new Georg Unit, named after the Georg Homestead of 1872, an original pioneer home left respectfully undisturbed in Cordillera Ranch, is an ideal setting for hosting larger groups of guests.

With a spacious layout featuring four Deluxe rooms and a common area with a full kitchen and living room, the Georg is a luxury accommodation with welcoming home-away-from-home conveniences. From the common area, sliding doors open to a private patio overlooking the third hole of the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. Each Deluxe room includes a king bed with luxury linens, a standing shower and personal care products, and three of the rooms lock-off to the common area for added privacy. A complimentary personal golf cart provides easy access to The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch and community properties.

Members have hosted groups for weddings, anniversary and birthday parties, corporate outings, as well as family and friends. Non-resident Members enjoy staying for the week so their children can participate in the wonderful camps the Clubs offer. The Club’s staff enjoy every opportunity to make the guests’ stays as unique as possible with custom catered packages, special room requests and children’s Tee-Pee set-ups.

The Georg joins the Elmax, a separate unit in The Lodges, that includes four Deluxe suites and two Deluxe rooms with the same luxury amenities as provided in the Georg. Suites and rooms may be reserved individually by Members and Club guests.

With all that The Lodges have to offer, you can trust that you and your guests will have a world-class experience while visiting the Ranch.

Lodging reservations can be made one of three ways: on the www.cordilleraranch.com website under “THE LODGES,” the Club’s Mobile App under “LODGING RESERVATIONS” or by contacting the Member Relations & Lodging Concierge, Brianna Botine, at 830.336.9177 or bbotine@cordilleraranch.com

The Lodges have been a real lifesaver for us as we prepare to build our home in Cordillera Ranch, during a pandemic. We are able to be close to our property, while still being able to use all the great facilities at the Club. There are also unique touches like the tent the team puts up for our young daughter for each stay. The rooms are very well designed, but the best thing about The Lodges is the service. From booking reservations to the staff that cleans the room, the team is all so accommodating to anything that comes up along the way.” – Jeff and Kam Gossett

Challenges. Opportunities. Moving Forward.

Fall has been a busy season for the Agronomy team. This important season kicks off after all the fun of the Ladies’ Ranch Roundup, when we begin our greens aerification process. At the conclusion of this process in October, we have now seen the extraordinary benefit of the deep vertical slicing (Graden device) coupled with the normal aerification of punching holes and backfilling with sand.

Bees and Golf Courses

A long-standing interest of mine has been the benefits of using honey and bee keeping. I have enjoyed honey since I was a child and there are many benefits of having honey in your diet. Honey contains a variety of nutrients, it’s rich in antioxidants and is better for blood sugar levels than regular sugar. Research has shown it to promote heart health, promote burn and wound healing, and help suppress coughing with children.

Amanda Naranjo

Ever since I can remember, I’ve been around the game of golf. From watching golf tournaments on TV with my family to going out to the driving range with my dad during my High School years while on the Golf Team, everything I associate with golf has been positive. I decided to attend the University of the Incarnate Word and major in Fashion Merchandising with a concentration in Business. Fusing both my passion for fashion and love for the game of golf, the golf merchandising path was the perfect path for me.
