Hometown: I was born Bandera, Texas and lived there until I was about 7 years old. After that, we moved to Boerne and I’ve been here ever since.
Family Members: Mother – Amy, and Father – Ray. I have four brothers and two sisters, and I’m the youngest of the bunch! Montanna lives in Austin, Chelsea lives in Houston, Kolt lives in Idaho, David and Thomas live in Louisiana, Tyler currently lives in San Antonio but is active military so he is always moving around! (David, Tyler and Kolt have all taken their time in the service.)
Tell us about the other positions you have held at Cordillera Ranch and how they prepared you for your new role.
I started working at The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch in 2022 as a receptionist at the front desk. I loved the role, but I found myself wanting something more active and a better way to connect with our members. That led me to serving, which in turn introduced me to the world of events — and I instantly fell in love with it. I’ve always had a creative mindset. In high school, I took floral design and art classes, which really helped develop my eye for detail and design. I enjoy coming up with events and décor ideas, and seeing them come to life. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching others enjoy and appreciate all the hard work that goes into creating a memorable experience.
What has been your most rewarding member experience at the Clubs?
During one of our themed events that I helped plan and decorate, a member came up to me at the end of the night, genuinely touched, and said it was one of the most fun and memorable evenings they’d had at the Club. Moments like that remind me why I love what I do — seeing members connect, smile, and enjoy something I helped bring to life is incredibly fulfilling. It’s not just about the event itself but about creating lasting impressions and a sense of community for the members we serve.
What do you like most about working at the Ranch?
I once heard the saying, “It’s not work if you enjoy where you are,” and I couldn’t agree more. Cordillera Ranch is so much more than just a workplace — the staff and members are incredibly friendly and supportive, and I truly admire each and every one of them. What I love most about my job is the freedom to fully tap into my creativity. Being able to bring ideas to life and create experiences that others enjoy is what makes my role so rewarding.
What do you do in your free time?
I love being out in nature — whether it’s going for a walk to enjoy the breeze, sitting outside to craft, or simply spending quality time with my family.
Excluding food and water, what two things would you want if stranded on an island?
I’d want to have a multi-tool — something compact
but useful for building, fixing, or protecting; and a journal
and pen — to keep track of time and document the experience!
If a genie granted you three wishes, what would they be?
Give my mother back everything that she has given to me; provide unconditional health and wealth to my family; and a Dobermann puppy.
Who is your hero, and why?
This may sound cliché, but definitely my mother. She has always been my number one supporter — whether I’m feeling down or life throws challenges my way, she’s always there to lift me up and remind me of how strong and talented I am. I truly value the life lessons she’s taught me and the example she sets through her strength, kindness and unwavering support. Her guidance has shaped so much of who I am today.
What is your most memorable meal, and why?
My all-time favorite meal has to be my grandmother’s rice and gravy, served with a side of Louisiana-style potato salad and corn. It’s the ultimate comfort food and brings back so many warm memories from my childhood. Every bite reminds me of home, family and the love that went into every meal she made.
Anything else about yourself that would surprise others?
One thing people are often surprised to learn about me is that I love to sing! I’ve even had people encourage me to try out for The Voice, but I’m a little too stage-shy to take that leap — at least for now! Singing is something I truly enjoy, even if it’s just for fun or behind the scenes.
