Happy New Year Cordillera Ranch!

With all of that being said, that was So Last Year!

What to expect in 2026

We will still strive to do a monthly Wine Dinner; however, they will be spread all over the Ranch. It will be new, exciting and less formal for some, and who knows, maybe we will throw a Masquerade or Black Tie in there as well. We will strive to keep you on your toes and reading through your emails.

In the first quarter of 2026, we will also start a series of “everything wine” on Thursday nights. Call it a palooza, if you will. Our wine dinners will continue on Thursdays, but we will also incorporate some aspect of learning, tasting and even games every Thursday night. We have already contacted different Master Somms to do some lectures in more of a classroom setting. I can see us doing some mixing classes as well, so you can blend your own. Again, building excitement and solidifying Thursday as WINE NIGHT at the Club!

Another new and exciting offering will be Wine of the Month. We are still polishing up the logistics, but it will consist of a Pick 6 or Pick 12 format. Every month you will receive our picks, which will be customized by your favorites. If you like Cabs, then you can receive 6 to 12 Cabs every month. Same thing with Italian, French, Spanish … in wine, the world is open and most of the time ships straight to us for a seamless distribution. There will be different levels so that everybody’s budget is kept and all spelled out. I am so looking forward to putting this into action!

I will leave you with just a couple of teasers for the upcoming year. We will be starting out with Del Dotto in January. The owners from Knight’s Bridge will join us in March. Round Pond will be with us at the end of March. We will welcome back Aaron Robertson from Aperture in September — they just received Winery of the Year. We will finish 2026 with a Winemaker of the Year on December 17.

Lastly, please stay in tune with your e-mails because we are going to keep industry experts coming from all over the world. Master Somms are all on high alert, and we will get them and learn from them. All of us together!

Thank you again for an amazing year, and from my family to yours,

Happy New Year!

With 2025 behind us, I want to revisit some of the highlights that were brought throughout last year. We enjoyed 10 of our Wine Dinners in 2025. They consisted of one on our Championship Green, two in Axis, one in our Private Dining Room and six in our Main Dining Room. We showcased wines from Italy twice, Chile and all over Oregon and California. We had proprietors, winemakers and product experts as our hosts. This year’s Bubbles and Big Reds was ENORMOUS and covered the entire Clubhouse. We can’t give enough thanks for all the support given in helping make all of these events so amazing. No matter how much work goes into the planning and coordinating, it is so worth it to hear the accolades from all who attend.

Living Longer or Living Healthier: Your Lifespan vs. Health Span

At Cordillera Ranch, we often talk about achieving new fitness goals and enjoying a round of golf, tennis or pickleball. These activities and so many others we do are central to a vibrant life here at the Clubs. But how do we measure the success of our health? Do we want to live longer and “survive” our life, or do we want to thrive? Some say we would like quality over quantity; I believe we can have quality in the quantity of years in our lives.

Welcome Letter

It’s Been a Year of Progress and Connection

As the days grow shorter and our community begins to sparkle with holiday lights, I wanted to share a quick note of gratitude and a few friendly reminders as we head into the season. This time of year always seems to bring out the best in people — more get-togethers, more shared meals and more neighborly help when it’s needed most. That spirit is what makes Cordillera Ranch such a special place to call home and, frankly, it’s not solely unique to this time of year.
