Junior Tournament Player Program

The Junior Tournament Player Program is designed to educate the “Elite” Junior Golfers who strive to elevate their game to the regional and national competitive level and provide the skill instruction needed to play competitively at that highest level. Each junior golfer will receive a customized personal evaluation detailing their strengths and weaknesses. The program will include regular on-course play, competition, skills analysis and instruction to enhance their competitive skills. Juniors entering this program will improve the three most important elements to scoring: driving, wedge play and putting. Bryan Gathright, Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Teacher, and Gevin Allen, the Director of Instruction at The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch, will administer and teach the program.

Bryan Gathright has taught numerous players on the PGA Tour, Champions Tour and LPGA Tour, as well as, top amateur and collegiate players. Bryan has had five players earn their PGA Tour playing privileges under his tutelage.

Gevin Allen has been with The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch for the past ten years and has been involved with junior player development at The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch from the beginning. He is a U.S. Kids Certified Instructor and TPI Certified Golf Professional Level 3 specializing in Golf Mechanics. Birding in Cordillera Ranch

Bird watching can be a joyful experience. The sounds of birds frolicking outside your Cordillera Ranch home can be a great addition to your garden and landscape. Bird feeders are the quickest and easiest way to attract our winged friends to your yard. If you have ever visited the Outfitter Center at Cordillera Ranch, you’ll have no doubt about how much I enjoy feeding birds and having them around the entire year.

Manager's Message

Wow, what a time of year!

Spring never disappoints, with warmer weather, longer days and prettier everything, it’s easy to feel a sense of rejuvenation and rebirth during these splendid months. While we’re only a handful of months into the year, and there’s a feeling of a fresh start, it also feels as though some things are coming to conclusion.

The green slopes away from you and to the right while being guarded by a large bunker on the front/right side and a couple of bunkers on the left side. In case you thought long was safe … it’s not — there’s another bunker there, too!
