Adventure Maui

By Shane Reynolds

The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch began our Signature Vacation series several years ago for our members. The goal was to create an all-inclusive organized trip so that our members could experience magic moments thanks to unique experiences with other members, family and friends. Our exclusive offerings are led by our talented professional staff and designed to visit some of the most desirable golf and recreation destinations in the U.S. and beyond. There’s much more to a truly satisfying luxury vacation than simply staying in a nice place. The activities planned and the extra special touch from our staff is what inspires our members to join others on these trips. The Club’s Signature Vacation offerings have been well received by our members and we will continue to expand the diversity of trips in the future.

George Strait & Superbowl Weekend in Las Vegas
February 1 – 4
The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch has continued its offerings of Signature Vacations for our club members by offering two outstanding options over the winter months. The first offering in February is a 4-day / 3-night getaway to Las Vegas on Superbowl weekend. We have 40 club members scheduled to fly into Las Vegas on February 1st and check into the Wynn Encore. The trip features an all-inclusive night out on the town Friday with dinner, drinks and entertainment. The highlight of the trip will be Saturday night. The group has premier concert tickets on Saturday night to GEORGE STRAIT with Martina McBride on his final tour The Cowboy Rides Away. On Superbowl Sunday, our group will enjoy the game together in one of the large sport books on the strip.

Maui Golf & Adventure Trip
February 18 – 24
The second trip in February is a Golf & Adventure Trip to Maui. This trip features a 7-day / 6-night trip to the second largest Hawaiian Island. The group will stay in two separate resorts and play some of the finest golf courses in Hawaii. When not on the golf course, the group will enjoy some great adventure activities that includes a drive on the famous road to Hana, a sunset whale watching and dinner cruise, a helicopter tour of the island  and the Pools of ‘Ohe’o, popularly called the “Seven Sacred Pools” which are some the most scenic waterfalls and pools on the island.

Where Do You Spend Your Time?

I recently read a story retold by the father of a young family of three that included himself, his wife and their young daughter. According to his recounting, after dinner they were each challenged to share an object symbolic of how they would describe one another to a stranger. When it was the daughter’s turn to share the item she thought to be representative of her father, she produced a cell phone. At her young age, she wasn’t taking a sarcastic “shot” at her dad, rather, it was how she truly saw him when he was home.
