With his unique brand of comedic energy, the late Robin Williams once said, “Spring is nature’s way of saying, ‘Let’s party!’”

This time of year definitely seems to bring a feeling of renewed energy — the grass is turning green, leaves are budding-out on trees and most importantly, winter is in the rearview mirror. We’re looking forward to family vacations, wearing shorts again and generally being able to enjoy some comfortable air.

For a lot of folks, spring is also a season of inspiration to start new projects, or finish-up ones that may have laid dormant for a little while. And what better way to spur those thoughts than at our Spring 2024 Preferred Builder Home Tour at Cordillera Ranch on April 6th. Whether you’re simply looking to grab ideas for that kitchen renovation you’ve been thinking about or are ready to finally build that custom home you’ve always dreamed of, visiting with any of our six Preferred Builders during the Spring Home Tour is a great place to start. And, with construction material costs moderating considerably compared to the last few years, now is a great time to seize the
moment and take advantage of this window of opportunity to get a little more mileage for your dollar.

Hopefully you find a bit of renewed energy this spring, and we’ll plan to see you in April at our Spring Preferred Builder Home Tour.

Let’s Party!

CHEERS!

Fall has been a busy season for the Agronomy team. This important season kicks off after all the fun of the Ladies’ Ranch Roundup, when we begin our greens aerification process. At the conclusion of this process in October, we have now seen the extraordinary benefit of the deep vertical slicing (Graden device) coupled with the normal aerification of punching holes and backfilling with sand.

Bees and Golf Courses

A long-standing interest of mine has been the benefits of using honey and bee keeping. I have enjoyed honey since I was a child and there are many benefits of having honey in your diet. Honey contains a variety of nutrients, it’s rich in antioxidants and is better for blood sugar levels than regular sugar. Research has shown it to promote heart health, promote burn and wound healing, and help suppress coughing with children.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve been around the game of golf. From watching golf tournaments on TV with my family to going out to the driving range with my dad during my High School years while on the Golf Team, everything I associate with golf has been positive. I decided to attend the University of the Incarnate Word and major in Fashion Merchandising with a concentration in Business. Fusing both my passion for fashion and love for the game of golf, the golf merchandising path was the perfect path for me.
