But if you’re out there every weekend, maybe it’s time to join the club — or buy the course,” he joked.
While the fractional and membership models are well known in the industry, FlighTime prefers a more flexible approach. “Our clients don’t like being boxed into contracts or stuck with unused hours,” Katelyn noted. “We often recommend on-demand charter — where you pay for each trip and we source the perfect aircraft every single time.”
For those who own jets, FlighTime’s full-service aircraft management takes the stress out of ownership. “It’s like owning a second home,” said Mark. “There are pilots, fuel, maintenance, weather, itineraries … We handle all of that. You just tell us where and when.”

What was supposed to be a six-month gig turned into 50 years of business in Uvalde. My dad and I bought a small operation there, and over the decades we’ve built this into a family of aviation companies.”
Today, his son, Conrad, is a Flight Captain with FlighTime, and Katelyn is running the charter division with grace and a dedication her dad is proud of. Even his grandkids are showing signs of following in their footsteps.
“Honestly, it’s just exciting. We’re in the business of saving people time and giving them amazing experiences. Every day is different, and that’s what makes it so gratifying,” commented Katelyn.
