Rather than rushing across long distances, our route focuses on three complementary destinations in northern Spain, giving us time to soak in the distinct atmosphere, culture and landscapes of each locale. 

Our adventure begins along the Bay of Biscay in San Sebastián, renowned globally as one of the world’s great culinary and coastal capitals. Here, our group will tee off at the historic Real Golf Club de San Sebastián, surrounded by rolling green hills and cool ocean breezes. Between rounds, you can hike a scenic section of the famous Camino de Santiago coastal route, paddle a kayak into the turquoise waters of La Concha Bay, or simply take in a breathtaking Atlantic sunset from the iconic Monte Igueldo overlook. In the evenings, we will experience San Sebastián’s world-famous culinary scene with guided crawls through the historic Old Town, sampling exquisite pintxos and local ciders. 

From the coast, we drive inland to the world-famous La Rioja wine region, arriving at the absolute peak of the grape harvest season. You will walk through vineyard terraces glowing in vibrant autumn colors and enjoy private tours, barrel tastings and farm-to-table lunches at celebrated bodegas like Marqués de Riscal, Bodegas Ysios and Muga. Golfers will enjoy fairways set directly against the backdrop of vineyard hills at Club de Golf de La Rioja or Rioja Alta. For those seeking additional adventure, options abound to soar over vine-draped valleys in a hot-air balloon, ride e-bikes through rolling olive groves, or hike along the dramatic Sierra de Cantabria ridge. 

We conclude our journey in the dramatic mountain foothill region of Navarra and the Pyrenees. Here, we tee off at Real Golf Club de Pamplona under crisp mountain skies, surrounded by striking alpine backdrops. After exploring Pamplona’s historic old town, members can take on thrilling afternoon outdoor excursions in the Pyrenees valleys, ranging from zip-lining and river rafting to scenic canyon hikes. To toast an incredible week together, we will gather for a special final dinner featuring authentic mountain-style cuisine and regional vintages.
