A tradition unlike any other

“Spring shows what God can do with a drab and dirty world.”

Virgil A. Kraft

That is the truth, Virgil!

Is there really any better time of the year than the next 90 days ahead of us? Grass is turning green, flowers are blooming, morning temperatures are cool and pleasant, and the evenings, well they’re the reason so many of us moved out to the Texas Hill Country. The immortal words famously coined by broadcaster Jim Nantz to describe The Masters Tournament can also be interchangeable with a depiction of spring. It’s simply “A tradition unlike any other.”

And with the preferred climate and accompanying beauty comes a number of events and happenings exclusive and synonymous with springtime. Of course there’s the aforementioned Masters Tournament, Major League Baseball’s Opening Day, The NCAA’s March Madness, The Kentucky Derby, and of course, the premier day of spring, Easter. It’s a dense schedule of traditions, and those are just the headliners.

In addition to the many nationally heralded events, you’ve also got a calendar full of can’t-miss activities around the Club and community. From the Easter Eggstravaganza and Brunch to the crown jewel of the annual golf calendar, The C-Star, there is literally something for everyone to enjoy during this wonderful time of year. Wine dinners on the patio, trail rides with friends and lazy floats down the Guadalupe happen every day of the year, but in the spring, they just “hit different” as the kids like to say.

So, get outdoors, enjoy the beauty bestowed upon us this time of year, and don’t forget to join us for the other “tradition unlike any other,” our Spring Preferred Builders Home Tour on April 25th. I hope to see you there!
