Fridays in March & April  ::  Live Music on the Patio

Unwind after a long week on our Twin Sisters Patio from 6:00 to 9:00pm every Friday with live entertainment and a small bites feature, followed by dinner in the main dining room. Reservations for the dining room are recommended.

March 2  ::  Hill Family Estate Wine Dinner
Location: Cabana Dining Room
Time: 6:30 to 9:30pm
Join us for an intimate dinner featuring Hill Family Estate Wines. Executive Chef Isaac Cantu and his culinary team will craft a custom menu to pair with these remarkable wines. Advance reservations are required.

Time: Session One 4:00 to 5:15pm, Beginners | Session Two 6:00 to 7:15pm, Intermediate-Advanced
Cost: $105

March 5  ::  W.O.W. Women of Wine Mardi Gras

Calling all ladies! Come enjoy this Mardi Gras-themed food and wine pairing experience with food demonstrations by Executive Chef Isaac Cantu and wine from Serendipity Wine Imports.

The Chef Culinary Experience
Location: Cabana Dining Room
Executive Chef Isaac Cantu and Wine Specialist Jeffrey Cohen have created special wine dinners where you design your own personal dining experience from prix fixe menu selections complemented with wine pairings. Advance reservations are required.

March 12 – 15  ::  Spring Break Art Camp 
Time: 12:30 to 4:30pm 
Cost: $195 per child, Ages 4 – 8
This camp is all about being CREATIVE! Here at Art Camp, we are not afraid of a little mess. All materials will be provided; all you need to bring is your smile and creativity! Please make your reservation with Kelsey at kgrudle@cordilleraranch.com.

Format: Ryder Cup (Four Ball, Foursomes and Singles)
Entry : $220 (Includes food, team uniforms and bragging rights)

March 23  ::  Spring Round Up
Location: Poolside
Time: 6:00 to 9:00pm 
Join us poolside for some dancing, great food, and entertainment by Smoke Wagon. This will be a fun-filled evening you don’t want to miss! Advance reservations are required.

March 29 – 30  ::  Blockbuster Demo Day
Time: 9:00am to 3:00pm
Try out the hottest golf equipment and receive special discounts on purchases. Companies represented include: Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, Ping, PXG, Taylor Made, Titleist, XXIO and more. A representative will be on hand with specific trade-in values for your current equipment. Time: 11:00am Lunch; 12:30pm Shotgun
Format: Two best ball net and select two players from Masters field and their 18 hole score your 2 Net Best Ball
Foursomes: 2 Members with 2 Guests or 1 Member with 3 Guests
Cost: $525 per team. Entry includes specially themed tee gifts, trophies for net champions, shop credit, lunch and after golf snacks.

April 20  ::  Easter Eggstravaganza
Join us at the Equestrian Center for an EGGstravagant afternoon! There will be an egg hunt at 11:00am, an Easter bunny photo opportunity, sack races, hay rides, balloon twisters, face painting, petting zoo and a DJ, along with lunch and drinks available for everyone. Advance reservations required.

April 21  ::  Easter Brunch
Time: 11:00am to 2:00pm
Spring is in the air and Easter brunch is on the menu. We’ve gathered together some of the tastiest dishes for your special Sunday, along with entertainment by Bernie Martini! Kids will enjoy a special appearance by the Easter Bunny and adults can sip a mimosa or two. This is sure to be a brunch you don’t want to miss! Advance reservations are required.

April 25  ::  Far Niente Wine Dinner
Location: Cabana Dining Room
Time: 6:30 to 9:30pm
Join us for an intimate dinner featuring Far Niente Wines. Executive Chef Isaac Cantu and his culinary team will craft a custom menu to pair with these remarkable wines. Advance reservations are required.

April 26 – 27  ::  El Compadre Member/Member
Time: Friday Shotgun Start 1:00pm
Saturday Shotgun Start 9:30am
Cost: $650 per team
This event is totally revamped for 2019! The Format this year will be 6 holes scramble, 6 holes shamble and 6 holes alternate shot. We have selected some very unique tee gifts that you do not want to miss out on, and the Trophies are spectacular! The entry fee also includes lunch on Friday afternoon before Shotgun. Dinner is moved to Friday night, and Saturday morning will start with breakfast before morning Shotgun, followed by lunch prior to shootout to determine the El Compadre Champion. Don’t be left out!

Fall has been a busy season for the Agronomy team. This important season kicks off after all the fun of the Ladies’ Ranch Roundup, when we begin our greens aerification process. At the conclusion of this process in October, we have now seen the extraordinary benefit of the deep vertical slicing (Graden device) coupled with the normal aerification of punching holes and backfilling with sand.

A long-standing interest of mine has been the benefits of using honey and bee keeping. I have enjoyed honey since I was a child and there are many benefits of having honey in your diet. Honey contains a variety of nutrients, it’s rich in antioxidants and is better for blood sugar levels than regular sugar. Research has shown it to promote heart health, promote burn and wound healing, and help suppress coughing with children.

From watching golf tournaments on TV with my family to going out to the driving range with my dad during my High School years while on the Golf Team, everything I associate with golf has been positive. I decided to attend the University of the Incarnate Word and major in Fashion Merchandising with a concentration in Business. Fusing both my passion for fashion and love for the game of golf, the golf merchandising path was the perfect path for me.
