How did you get into your field?

As a young girl, I often asked my mother and grandmother to drive me through neighborhoods looking at homes and we spent many weekends visiting open houses and touring new developments.  My favorite magazine was Southern Living, I would cut out photographs of the designs I liked and put them in a book to make up my dream home.  After attending LSU I spent over 10 years in restaurant management and yearned for a career that afforded me a better quality of life. Real Estate seemed a natural choice since it was dear to my heart.   I decided to get my real estate license and over the last fifteen years have had the opportunity to work in real estate sales, advertising, marketing, mortgage and title processing

How long have you been with Cordillera Ranch?

I have been with Cordillera Ranch since October 2013.  After meeting Charlie Hill and his family last fall, I became intrigued with the development so I kept my eye open for available positions.

What is your favorite aspect of working in the Hill Country?

My favorite aspects of working in the Hill Country are the people and my commute to work.  Since moving to Boerne in 2012, everyone has been genuinely welcoming and friendly, we’ve never been treated like outsiders.  The other great thing about working in the Hill Country is my drive to work and the view I get to experience every day.

What are your hobbies/interests?

I love to fish, cook (I make a mean gumbo) and entertain.  Anything we can do with family takes priority!

What’s your favorite sport?

NASCAR, LSU football, SPURS basketball and my boys’ baseball games.

Favorite sporting event you’ve attended?

NASCAR race in Talladega, Alabama in the Fall 2001, pure adrenaline rush for a whole weekend!

Favorite quote?

“Life’s a dance, you learn as you go”

Favorite movie and why?

Pretty Woman – Richard Gere and Julia Roberts, what’s not to love?

What has been your greatest challenge in your business?

My greatest challenge has always been to be able to balance family life and work life and learning that it’s okay if the house is a wreck when I leave for work because it will be a wreck fifteen minutes after I get home anyway.

What has been your most rewarding experience in your business?

The most rewarding experience was the first real estate sale I closed.  I was able to help a young couple purchase their very first home and I felt that I’d made a difference in their life.

Favorite aspect or feature at Cordillera Ranch?

My favorite aspect of working at Cordillera Ranch is that I get the meet the most interesting people in the world!

Birding in Cordillera Ranch

Bird watching can be a joyful experience. The sounds of birds frolicking outside your Cordillera Ranch home can be a great addition to your garden and landscape. Bird feeders are the quickest and easiest way to attract our winged friends to your yard. If you have ever visited the Outfitter Center at Cordillera Ranch, you’ll have no doubt about how much I enjoy feeding birds and having them around the entire year.

Manager's Message

Wow, what a time of year!

Spring never disappoints, with warmer weather, longer days and prettier everything, it’s easy to feel a sense of rejuvenation and rebirth during these splendid months. While we’re only a handful of months into the year, and there’s a feeling of a fresh start, it also feels as though some things are coming to conclusion.

Play-A-Hole #7

The 7th hole at Cordillera Ranch is our second Par-3 that you will encounter and can look pretty daunting from the tee. The green slopes away from you and to the right while being guarded by a large bunker on the front/right side and a couple of bunkers on the left side. In case you thought long was safe … it’s not — there’s another bunker there, too!
