Introducing the Newest Gems

We recently unveiled our latest trio of new spaces: Axis, Pool Snack Bar and El Norte Bar. These spaces are designed to be versatile, offering great dining, relaxation and entertainment. Let’s take a closer look at what makes each of these new additions so exciting.

Axis

Axis isn’t named for the deer; it’s a place where members come together for good times and to celebrate with family and friends. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the vibes. You are greeted by modern design elements with clean lines and a warm color palette that feels both sophisticated and inviting.

Axis was created to be flexible, whether you’re enjoying a wonderful meal, watching a game on one of the six big screen TVs, or hosting a company party. The space is versatile, especially when you include the pool area and El Norte Bar. Once our kitchen construction is complete, we’ll be able to offer our full lunch and dinner menus crafted by Chef Isaac. He’s dedicated to creating dishes that bring variety and quality, setting Axis apart from our other dining options.

Pool Snack Bar

With summer in full swing and temperatures rising to triple digits, the Pool Snack Bar has become the go-to spot for cooling down. Located by the north end of the Axis Patio, it features our first-ever soft-serve ice cream machine, which has already been a hit with kids and adults. Please make sure the kids know about this! This new addition is perfect for all ages, providing a refreshing treat during those hot summer days.

El Norte Bar

El Norte Bar adds a new spot for socializing. Whether you’re taking a break from swimming or just looking for a cool place to relax, El Norte Bar has something for everyone. With its prime location next to the adult pool, it’s the perfect place to recharge and refresh with a selection of beverages. We’re also introducing our frozen margarita machine, serving “skinny” margaritas. Made with fresh lime, orange liqueur and tequila — no mixes — these margaritas are a perfect way to keep cool while hanging out in the pool. Imagine sitting by the adult pool, watching the sunset with a fresh, icy margarita in hand. It’s the perfect end to a summer day!

The team is excited about these new spaces and can’t wait to share them with you. We look forward to the completion of our kitchen construction so we can fully showcase the culinary delights we have planned. In the meantime, we invite you to explore these wonderful new amenities at the Club.

Challenges. Opportunities. Moving Forward.

Fall has been a busy season for the Agronomy team. This important season kicks off after all the fun of the Ladies’ Ranch Roundup, when we begin our greens aerification process. At the conclusion of this process in October, we have now seen the extraordinary benefit of the deep vertical slicing (Graden device) coupled with the normal aerification of punching holes and backfilling with sand.

Bees and Golf Courses

A long-standing interest of mine has been the benefits of using honey and bee keeping. I have enjoyed honey since I was a child and there are many benefits of having honey in your diet. Honey contains a variety of nutrients, it’s rich in antioxidants and is better for blood sugar levels than regular sugar. Research has shown it to promote heart health, promote burn and wound healing, and help suppress coughing with children.
