Format: 4-Person Short Course Scramble

Thanksgiving Day Golf Hours
The golf course will close at 3:00pm on Thanksgiving Day and carts must be in at that time.

THANKSGIVING FEAST
Time: Seating is available 11:00am-1:30pm.
In honor of Thanksgiving, The Club will be hosting a holiday-themed feast. Join us for an elegant Thanksgiving lunch with live music from
Bernie Martini.
Reservations are required, and a 48 hour cancellation policy is in effect. Reserve your seating with the receptionist by calling 830.336.9000.

November 24th
TURKEY TROT AND STUFFING STROLL
Did you have more fun than your fair share of Thanksgiving turkey and pumpkin pie? Well, it’s time to make up for the feast before it leaves a mark on your waistline. The “Turkey Trot” is a 5K run (3.2 miles) through the Golf Village. For those of you looking for a shorter route, you can take a 1.5 mile stuffing stroll. All ages are welcome, including pets and strollers!
Awards will be given to the fastest male and female runners broken down into two age divisions. Breakfast tacos, fruit and assorted pastries will be available upon completion of the run.
Time: 9:30-9:50am sign-in and warm-up stretch. 10:00am run/walk. Meet in front of the Golf Shop.

Golf and Trading Shop Christmas Open House
Time: 5:00pm – 7:30pm
The popular “Discount Wheel of Fortune” makes its return for one night only. Special discounts ranging from 10% – 40% on all merchandise are available by spinning the wheel.
Note: All Golf Shop store credit must be used by December 31.

ANNUAL CLUBHOUSE LIGHTING PARTY
Time: 6:00-9:00pm
Celebrate the lighting of the Christmas tree and Clubhouse! Join in the festivities with drink specials and member dining while enjoying entertainment by Bernie Martini.

DECEMBER

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
Time: Seating times are 9:00am and 11:00am
Picture Fee: $15 for the first photo and $5 and for every additional photo: photos will be available at the time of purchase
It’s a jolly good time at The Clubhouse when Santa joins us for breakfast! Be sure to dress in your Christmas best to have your pictures taken while you tell Santa what is on your wish list. Children’s activities include a reindeer food craft and coloring sheets in the Twin Sister’s Lounge while adults enjoy entertainment from Peter Gloria!

GINGERBREAD HOUSE DECORATING
Time: 11:00am-1:00pm
Location: Cabana Grille
This is a great holiday family activity! We will provide everything you need: the house will be already assembled and all your kids need to bring are their decorating skills. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Holiday Hours
The golf course and Golf Shop will close at 2:00pm on Christmas Eve and carts must be in at that time. The golf course and Golf Shop will be closed on Christmas Day.

Amenity Reservations on the Ranch

Cordillera Ranch offers a variety of amenities for property owners and the new POA website allows online reservations for those amenities. To place a reservation request, simply log into the Cordillera Ranch POA website at www.cordilleraranchpoa.com, use the drop down on the For Residents tab and select Reservations, which lists the multiple amenities available. Property owners will then need to select which amenity they wish to reserve, and fill out the online form. The completed form is sent to the POA to review, at which time the POA will approve or deny the request. Once a decision has been made by the POA, the property owner is notified.

Where Do You Spend Your Time?

I recently read a story retold by the father of a young family of three that included himself, his wife and their young daughter. According to his recounting, after dinner they were each challenged to share an object symbolic of how they would describe one another to a stranger. When it was the daughter’s turn to share the item she thought to be representative of her father, she produced a cell phone. At her young age, she wasn’t taking a sarcastic “shot” at her dad, rather, it was how she truly saw him when he was home.
