In October of 2024, our maintenance facility was lost to a fire — an unexpected and defining moment for our Agronomy team. While the loss was significant, what followed was something truly special. Despite enormous behind-the-scenes challenges, our team showed remarkable resilience, professionalism and pride, keeping the golf course in outstanding condition day in and day out. Most members never saw the hurdles, and that was by design. The crew never lost focus on delivering the exceptional playing experience you expect.
Out of that adversity came opportunity.
Today, we are proud to share that our new maintenance facility is complete — a modern, purpose-built agronomy operation designed to support our team and protect the long-term quality of the golf course. Every element of the facility was thoughtfully reworked with efficiency, safety and performance in mind.
The new building features a state-of-the-art grinding room, a fully equipped technician workshop and ample covered storage to properly house and protect all equipment. These upgrades not only extend the life of our assets, but also allow maintenance work to be completed with greater precision and consistency. Just as importantly, the facility includes a renovated team breakroom — creating a space that reflects the value we place on the people who care for the course every day.
Technology also plays a major role in the new operation. The facility integrates advanced systems that allow us to work smarter and more proactively. These include digital task scheduling for efficient labor management, equipment-repair tracking to reduce downtime, real-time greens moisture monitoring, structured training platforms for team development, GPS-based application tracking for fertilizers and plant-health products, and autonomous mower monitoring to ensure consistency and accuracy. Together, these tools enhance communication, accountability and decision-making across the entire operation.
Beyond the building itself, the surrounding infrastructure was completely redesigned. New materials-storage bins improve organization and workflow, a modern fuel-storage and dispensing area enhances safety and efficiency, and a newly paved parking lot provides a cleaner, more functional space for the Agronomy team to begin and end each day.
As we move into the 2026 season, this new maintenance facility gives our team everything they need to support the course at the highest level. More than a building, it represents a renewed commitment — to our people, to the property and to providing the very best golf experience possible for our members and guests.
We are incredibly proud of what has been accomplished, and even more excited for what lies ahead.
