A Drive for Perfection

Adobe Road Winery and The Racers Group bring world-class wines and racing to Cordillera Ranch

March 27  ::  6:00 to 9:00pm

Adobe Road Winery hails directly from the “starting line” of California Wine Country in Petaluma, California. The small-lot producer is one of the hottest boutique wineries in the country, winning numerous accolades and a large collection of recent 90+ scores from publications like Wine Spectator and Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate (16 this past year, to be exact). Adobe Road’s handcrafted wines are in high demand and each one is sourced from the preeminent vineyards in Napa and Sonoma counties. Owner and founder Kevin Buckler has a strong background in building teams and a drive to excellence with his championship sportscar racing history and makes sure the quality shines through in every bottle. The winery is featured at some of the most prestigious wine events in the country, including Wine Spectator’s Grand Tour and the ultimate Grand Experience in New York, showcasing the top 250 wines in the world. Adobe Road will also be featured in March at the upcoming Robert Parker Wine Advocate global tour, Matter of Taste in San Francisco.

Kevin came from humble roots and achieved unprecedented success as lead professional driver and team owner of The Racers Group, and has an amazing story along the way. With international victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 24 Hours at Daytona (four wins/once overall), seven championships and over 100 professional victories, the team holds the winningest record of any independent GT team in North America. Buckler’s push into other avenues has led the motorsports program to keep up a heavy schedule of high-end corporate events, including custom wine dinners and “arrive and drives,” becoming a go-to for top companies looking for unique ways to help with their hospitality, sponsorship needs and strong business development.

The team will compete at Austin’s Circuit of the Americas, March 23-25, with the Pirelli World Challenge series debuting the beautiful TRG Aston Martin GT4 race car. The team’s race-winning Aston Martin race cars will be on display alongside cars from Mark Motors at Cordillera Ranch for a unique car, wine and food event. Derek DeBoer and Sean Gibbons, TRG’s pro drivers in Austin will be in attendance. Centered on the highly acclaimed wines from Adobe Road and paired with a menu crafted and presented by Executive Chef Isaac Cantu and his team, this will be an extraordinary evening. The price of the event will be $129.00 ++ and will include six 3-ounce Adobe Road wine tastings and dinner.

Reservations can be made with Brianna Botine at 830.336.9000 or by email at bbotine@cordilleraranch.com.

Great 8
