Introducing The Majors: A Legendary Enclave at Cordillera Ranch

We’ve been biting our tongue for the past few months, sharing bits of information, and generally being coy about a new Unit of home sites under construction in Clubs Village. At this point, I’m sure many of you have seen some land clearing and site work in an area just to the south of Di Lusso along Clubs Drive, and we’re finally ready, not to mention VERY excited, to share with you what we’ve been working towards inside that 10-acre parcel.

So, without further ado, we would like to introduce you to The Majors!

Set inside that 10-acre parcel, The Majors is a private enclave of just 18 home sites, ranging from roughly a third of an acre to just over an acre. It is home to some of the most spectacular views in all of Cordillera Ranch, with home sites set at varying elevations across the Hill Country terrain. And it’s only a quick golf cart ride from the Clubhouse and the course, so a morning tee time or an evening on the terrace is just minutes from your front door.

The views shaped everything about how The Majors was planned. Select home sites carry maximum roof heights to help preserve the outlook from the home sites above them. Natural preserve areas along the back of the lots keep native trees and terrain in place between neighbors. The result is a neighborhood that feels open, private and connected to its natural setting.

Artist’s rendering for illustration only. Actual homes, landscaping, lighting and site improvements may differ.

The homes will be just as thoughtfully considered. Architecture at The Majors follows a Hill Country Modern and Transitional style. Picture standing seam metal roofs, sawn limestone, smooth stucco, warm wood-look accents and dark-framed windows. Together they create a neighborhood that feels cohesive, while each home responds to its own setting. Homes will range from approximately 2,500 to 6,500 square feet and will be built by Cordillera Ranch Approved Builders.

As for the name, it came naturally. Cordillera Ranch is home to a golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus, whose record 18 major championships remain one of the most recognizable numbers in the game. With 18 home sites in our newest enclave, the connection was hard to miss. As a small nod, each home site will carry the name of one of those victories, from Oakmont ’62 to Augusta ’86, giving every home a bit of history to share with friends and family.

Home sites will be released in stages, first to our Preferred Builders, then to property owners and members, and then to the public. We can’t wait to share so much more with you about The Majors, including architectural styles, sizes of homes that can be built and pricing of available home sites. For questions about specific properties, please feel welcome to reach out to CR Realty at 830.336.3570, pop-in to our office near the Main Gate, or click here find more details about The Majors.

When It Feels Right: Marcy and Chet Burchett

For Marcy and Chet Burchett, some of life’s biggest decisions have required surprisingly little debate. That includes their marriage, moves across the country and eventually overseas, their return to Texas, their church and, especially, their home in Cordillera Ranch. Again and again, the answer has been the same: when something feels right, they just know it.
