The Community Comes To Life

The home stretch of 2026 is upon us!

There’s always so much to look forward to this time of year, with Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s all right around the corner. Personally, it’s my favorite season. The community comes to life at night with holiday decorations around every corner, there’s a crisp feeling in the air (hopefully), and football games really start to mean something. It’s the best.

Of course, these months can also bring an added layer of stress as you try to come up with a gift worthy of its recipient. This time around, I don’t want you to worry. I’m here to help with the perfect idea. Featured in this issue’s Developer’s Corner, you’ll find just the thing… a new home site! A brand-new neighborhood of home sites in Clubs Village, complete with spectacular views, offers a gift that would certainly be remembered for years to come. And don’t worry about setting the bar too high, because next year you can give them a brand-new home to go on that lot! You’re welcome.

In all seriousness, this time of year brings real stress and worry for many families. With the Christmas season approaching, we look forward to continuing our partnership with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Foundation Blue Santa program. By providing filled stockings for families and children in need, this remarkable program brings joy to so many who might otherwise go without.

For more information on how you can get involved with Cordillera Cares, please contact Victoria Harmon at 830.336.2518.

As we close out the year, I hope you’ll join us in sharing a little of the joy that makes this season so special. From all of us at Cordillera Ranch, we wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season and a happy New Year!

When It Feels Right: Marcy and Chet Burchett

For Marcy and Chet Burchett, some of life’s biggest decisions have required surprisingly little debate. That includes their marriage, moves across the country and eventually overseas, their return to Texas, their church and, especially, their home in Cordillera Ranch. Again and again, the answer has been the same: when something feels right, they just know it.
