MAC AND ERNIE’S ROADSIDE EATERY
Literally a roadside food stand that has become world famous. Located in Tarpley, the menu changes frequently and only features the ingredients that the chef has bought for that day. HILL TOP CAFE
“Inconveniently located in the middle of nowhere…” but well worth the drive. People from all over flock to this converted roadhouse / gas station 10 miles north of Fredericksburg. A place where food and music lovers gather to enjoy the unique Hill Country ambiance. Make sure to save room for dessert. Their pies and cakes are made from scratch, mixed and rolled by hand.
