2020 Summer Camps at Cordillera Ranch

NOTE: While it is difficult to predict what activities may be open and available for the summer months (if any), at the time of this going to press, we are ‘keeping the hope alive’ that our junior campers may be able to enjoy some of these wonderful camps this summer if it’s determined to be safe (and of course allowed per current government restrictions). We felt it would be better to leave this in the magazine for now and if we have to cancel or postpone any after press, we will communicate such announcements to members at that time.

Choose your adventure! Our camps provide fun-filled experiences in a safe environment for every boy and girl. From art, horses, golf and tennis to specialty camps for cooking and outdoor adventures, we have it all, and we’re excited to offer new camps this year for kids to enjoy.

Camp counselors provide high-quality instruction and supervision in a fun atmosphere and our primary goal is to get kids excited about learning and enjoying the different activities found at the Ranch. Campers will get to explore many of the outdoor amenities including Swede Creek, the Guadalupe River, the Equestrian Center and the Cordillera Ranch Pool. Instead of watching movies or sitting in front of computer screens, kids are tromping through the creek, playing games, learning to identify plant species and experiencing new activities. Our camps have many benefits including staying physically active, socializing and learning new skills, but when it comes down to it, camp is just plain fun!

Bees and Golf Courses

Honey contains a variety of nutrients, it’s rich in antioxidants and is better for blood sugar levels than regular sugar. Research has shown it to promote heart health, promote burn and wound healing, and help suppress coughing with children.
