The Di Lusso Villas: Phase 2 Coming Soon

As you make your way through the gates of the Di Lusso Villas at Cordillera Ranch you immediately get the feel of a quaint Tuscan enclave with all of the charm and essence of a true Italian hill-side community. The true beauty of the Di Lusso Villas is the flawless combination of master craftsmanship and Tuscan features and flare. Take a left onto Vittoria Ridge and head up the hill; prepare for your breathe to be taken away by the stunning 25 mile views atop one of the highest summits in Cordillera Ranch. Due to such a high demand for these stunning view lots, it is time to launch Di Lusso Phase 2, located slightly down the hill from Di Lusso Phase 1 with the impeccable finishes and craftsmanship that are a staple of Phase 1. However, Di Lusso Phase 2 will be bringing several new distinctive attributes not available in before.

For starters, Di Lusso Phase 2 will include the first GOLF COURSE FRONTAGE LOTS ever offered in Di Lusso. There will be only six lots directly fronting hole #3 overlooking the green, fairway and facing north with the view across to the beautiful Clubhouse and Guadalupe River valley. There are not any plans for any more golf-frontage villa lots for several more years, so this limited offering is expected to go fast.

On top of adding golf frontage villas, Di Lusso Phase 2 will include two new plans designed by renowned Texas architect Roy Braswell. Mr. Braswell has consistently swept the awards for “Best Custom Designs” at the Summit Awards and ASID in recent years and he’s been featured in countless architecture magazines, including at least three cover features in Urban Home Magazine. His new Villa designs compliment the existing architecture in Phase 1 by integrating the Tuscan exteriors with expansive outdoor living and courtyard areas that take advantage of the breezes on this hillside and the beautiful views that come with it. Additionally, the interiors add some fresh touches blended with the warmth reflected in the current villa offering.  Mr. Braswell’s creative approach to capturing the surrounding views offered in this new section will be an addition to the existing five Villa floor plans that will also be offered in Phase 2.

For the tennis enthusiast, there is a small section of lots that are located just a short walk out of the back of the Phase 2 Villas to the Clubs of Cordillera Ranch tennis courts. This enclave of villas offers a new unique lifestyle opportunity to have tennis courts in such close proximity that you can pop onto the courts for a quick set and be back in the comfort of your in less than a minute.

Development of Phase 2 is planned to start in 3rd quarter 2012 with the first units ready in 3rd or 4th quarter 2013. For more information on this new limited offering, contact Cordillera Ranch at 888.66.RANCH or info@cordilleraranch.com or just stop by the Cordillera Ranch Visitor Center at the main entrance to the community. Also, stay tuned for more announcements about this new offering in the coming weeks and your opportunity to get a private exclusive preview.

Challenges. Opportunities. Moving Forward.

Fall has been a busy season for the Agronomy team. This important season kicks off after all the fun of the Ladies’ Ranch Roundup, when we begin our greens aerification process. At the conclusion of this process in October, we have now seen the extraordinary benefit of the deep vertical slicing (Graden device) coupled with the normal aerification of punching holes and backfilling with sand.

Bees and Golf Courses

A long-standing interest of mine has been the benefits of using honey and bee keeping. I have enjoyed honey since I was a child and there are many benefits of having honey in your diet. Honey contains a variety of nutrients, it’s rich in antioxidants and is better for blood sugar levels than regular sugar. Research has shown it to promote heart health, promote burn and wound healing, and help suppress coughing with children.
