Kids Flourish on the Ranch

By:
Megan Soltis, Communication & Family Events Manager

Cordillera Ranch is a place for families. The exclusive master-planned community offers a luxury lifestyle immersed in nature and outdoor activities, and for kids, it’s a dream come true. Not only are there seasonal camps where kids can learn to fish, play golf and tennis, ride horses and swim, but we have a year-round outlet for fun and learning at The Kids Club with books, games, arts & crafts, movies and more. There is something for everyone on the Ranch, and when asked what their favorite activities are, our junior members had a lot to say!

All the events and parties like the Kids’ Rodeo, Halloween, Breakfast with Santa and Easter EGGstravaganza!

What camps have you participated in at the Club?

I’ve done a lot of camps!

What was your favorite camp and why?

I like the horse one and any of the camps when we get to swim, especially when it is hot. I also like the camp where we build robots!

What is the best part about being a kid at Cordillera Ranch?

I love the bread rolls and salmon at the Club. I also like how nice everyone is that works at the Club.

What camps have you participated in at the Club?

Oh, I have done so many fun ones! Tennis Camp, Golf Camp, Art Camp, Mermaid Camp and Cooking Camp!

Which one was your favorite camp and why?

That’s a hard question because they are all great! I loved the new camp, Mermaid Camp! They had a mermaid come visit Cordillera! I loved swimming with all my friends and pretending we were mermaids all week! That was a lot of fun!

What is the best part about being a kid at Cordillera Ranch?

Being a kid here at Cordillera is a blast! I get to see friends all the time! Every week I play tennis and when it is warmer, I love playing golf. Summer is fun because they have a lot of cool camps!

What camps have you participated in at the Club?

There are too many for me to remember! They are all so much fun. I’ve been in Olympic Camp, Saddles and Splashes, Unicorn Princess Horse Camp, Swim Camp, C-Star Games, Golf Camp, Art Camp and Cooking Camp.

What was your favorite camp and why?

That is so hard because they are all great. If I had to pick, I’d say Art Camp. It’s amazing because it lets me be me. I get to do abstract art, which lets me be my creative self.

Every day we get to do different crafts and there’s always a fun group of kids.

What is the best part about being a kid at Cordillera Ranch?

We get to do all the fun stuff! There are tons of camps, we get to ride horses, we have a water slide at the pool and we get to play golf. Kids Club has lots of activities like Lego® Nights, Movie Nights and Science Nights. This is the best childhood a kid could ever experience!
