What career are you hoping to pursue?
Physical or Occupational Therapist for special needs kids

I plan on attending graduate school to fully earn my degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy so I can pursue my career.

The United States Naval Academy
Why did you choose that college?
Throughout my life, I have loved and admired my grandfather who served in the United States Air Force and then later was head of manufacturing for the V-22 Osprey program at Bell Helicopter. Through our relationship, I developed a strong interest in becoming a leader and in serving my country with the potential of flying aircraft or serving in whatever capacity my talents will have the greatest impact. The Naval Academy also gives me the opportunity to participate in a Division I Varsity Woman’s Rowing program for which I was recruited.
What career are you hoping to pursue?
I plan on pursing a Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering degree. My dream is to eventually fly the V-22 Osprey in honor of my grandfather.
Other than college, what else would you like to do after High School?
I hope to spend as much time as possible with my family and on June 10th, I leave for a week with my crew team for Florida to compete in The 2015 Youth National Rowing Championships.

Why did you choose that college?
I chose The University of Texas at Austin because of its academic excellence. I plan to double major in Journalism and Economics, and The Moody College of Communication and College of Liberal Arts are both ranked nationally. I would like to pursue a career in Broadcast Journalism and the Longhorn Network will allow me to have first-hand experience throughout my undergraduate studies. Another reason I chose to be a Longhorn is because of the diversity. Lastly, I love sports. The University of Texas will continue to be a dominating school in athletics. Whether it be going to football games with 101,000 other Longhorn fans or interviewing athletes for Longhorn Network, UT is the place for me.
What career are you hoping to pursue?
I plan to pursue Broadcast Journalism. I have loved watching sports and news anchors since I was a very young and have dreamed of being a broadcast journalist. I plan to be an anchor for a national broadcast someday. My love for sports, news, politics and the world have continued to motivate me to become a respected journalist who can inform our citizens of important news and information.
Other than college, what else would you like to do after High School?
After high school I plan to Intern with as many networks as I can and learn more about the industry. Another passion I have is travel. I would like to continue to explore new countries and cultures. I also, plan to continue my golf career. Even though I will not be playing competitively in college, the game I have grown to love will always be a priority.

Longwood University’s tennis coach made an offer to me to compete on their NCAA Division 1 Level Women’s Tennis Team. It has been my goal for years to play competitive college tennis so I feel honored to be a part of their team this fall.
What career are you hoping to pursue?
I am hoping to pursue a career in Computer Programming and possibly earn a teacher’s certification in teaching computer science to students wishing to go into the same field.
Other than college, what else would you like to do after High School?
My plan after high school is to compete in many tennis tournaments and achieve a high enough rank to start competing in higher level tournaments. Tennis has been my passion since I was 13 and I want to see how far I can go in competing and taking it to the next level. Going pro is not an easy task, but in my opinion it doesn’t hurt to try and shoot for the stars, especially if it’s something you love doing.
